Here’s some other home remedies to try instead.

A very easy and sufficient acid reflux remedy that many people swear by is eating a few slices of apple. I’m not sure why this works, but it does seem to work well. And there’s really no downside to together with more fruit in your diet.

If you make your own juices, you can make one that will serve as an acid reflux home remedy. Just make a juice of a well washed raw potato, whether by itself or with some other vegetables. The starch in the potato makes this a very soothing drink.

Another juice that can help is aloe vera. If you have a plant and a juicer at home you can make the juice yourself by peeling a piece of leaf and juicing it. However, you can also find ready aloe vera juice at a health food store. In the same way that people find it very soothing on minor burns, it soothes the irritation of the stomach.

Chamomile tea is other traditional home remedy for indigestion. If you make it a convention to sip a cup of lukewarm chamomile tea after meals, you’ll probably observation that you have much less upset stomach and heartburn.
